Balayage is low maintenance lived in colour, a type of highlight that never fully touches your root creating a natural regrowth. You can have soft natural balayage, or heavy grungy balayage, either way, this effect means your colour will last anywhere between 3 to 12 months because your in-built roots will only soften more as they grow out.
